Description This is an aboriginal native doll about 9.5 inches tall.. history is presently unknown... Beautiful leather, and beads. The fringe dress looks like deerskin.. The garments are leather, belt etc.... The brown boots feel like oilskin... Cloth stockinette face, embroidered features... She has a brown leather breastplate... Very soft black hair, long feels like human hair. I am sure she represents a tribe or region.. She could easily be from the 1940s to maybe 1950 at the latest.. filed lc bin 2026 inv.. little black glass bead eyes. yarn woven headband. Under the brown breastplate says GE Indian part of the label...
