Description I received this interesting English cloth doll in a mixed lot of small dolls.. Norah Wellings Made in England tag bottom of foot. This Vintage Nora Wellings doll made in England. 9 inch velvet and cloth with painted face. Tagged made in England by Nora Wellings. stuffed cloth body, slimmer style body brown velvet with black velvet shoes or feet.. Little white buttons on his uniform, sailor collar, cloth hands stitched fingers.. about 9 inches tall... He has his original helmet on with metal button on the top and two black leather like bands, etc.. hard stocking face, painted features.... His left eye could have a wee bit of paint loss at the top, grinning lips. Mitt hands. overall nice for his age, not crisp or mint.... Very unusual curly reddish blonde hair that is soft under the helmet. filed doll room shelf 7 5 2025 inv.
