18" Little Lady 1942 Effanbee Composition Doll, Majorette Costume Needs Restringing

Description This is an Effanbee circa 1942 all Composition Little Lady doll with an Anne Shirley head mold. She is about 17 or 18 inches tall.. Little Lady Anne Shirley from around 1942 She needs restringing, she is loose limbed, Some of the red pinafore dye has leached out onto the white top, she did not come with a hat, she is in overall nice condition and needs a good home. She is a Little Lady with Anne Shirley face dressed as a majorette by Effanbee. all compo .. She is listed in the Encyclopedia of Celebrity Dolls page 309. She is mentioned in other doll books as well.. I am asking $40 for her. .. She has some faint crazing on her face, overall I think she is in nice condition except loose.. plus shipping. She is lovely but needs attention. .. filed doll room 10 2025 inv.. She has very soft light brown hair wig with curly ends. probably mohair.. .. The boots are hard to come off, socks underneath, and do not think they have been removed much or at all.
