Description I JUST LOVE THESE CHARACTER DOLLS.. they are timeless and such a character face.. hand made in Ireland this lass is.. Woman of the Gaeltacht. label under her red skirt with one black band, single band means she is a married woman, blue check peasant blouse, nicely carved face, white apron, little square wood stand, as I received her and original tag as to her origin. she is the smallest I have seen at 5 1/2 inches tall.. soft skin toned felt stick legs, black cloth shoes.. everything about her is quaint.. black hair parted in the middle. high blush. would make a great gift to any doll collector or young one just starting their collection.. inventory 1291a HER SHAWL IS A RICH ROYAL BLUE AND HER CHECK PEASANT blouse is a blue green check. her skirt is a true red homespun woolen skirt. for this wonderful folk art doll in the royal blue shawl choose blue in the menu.. have the same gal, on wooden square stand, has her original Jay tag and she is the same region doll Gaeltacht and married too but her shawl is a lovely deep turquoise, she is wearing a green check blouse and the red skirt, lovely carved face.. and for the doll wearing the turquoise shawl choose green in the menu. advise doll you wish. many thanks filed.
