an antique French doll, marked SFBJ Paris. She has glass set very fluid pupiless dark eyes , closed painted red mouth, original mohair wig.. She is wearing beautiful antique all original costume.Bisque head has no repairs or hairlines. original 5 piece jointed compo body is in original finish-excellent.. , bisque face, rosy cheeks.. love the intricate white shaped crochet trim linen type collar and her headdress, red apron, rich gold decorations on the apron hem., and black outfit costume all done in fine gold thread decoration.. I am sure she was an expensive doll when first introduced.. estimate circa 1920 at the latest.. . composition body, clothes seem to be non removable., yellow taffeta underslips.. ,, brown painted boots, bit of a rub at edge of one toe.. beautifully created.. her hair is nice and wavy and dark brown... about 9 inches tall INVENTORY 1257 lr filed ok
