Description here are pictures of a group of 1920s to 30s celluloid made in Japan kewpie or cupie dolls, all dressed and adorable four of them for one price. one celluloid cutie has a nice print dress on and her arms are outstretched. red molded wavy hair, paper stamp on bottom of foot. she has a bit of pushed in bits on her cheeks and also her tummy. Japan and symbol on her back. she is about 8 inches tall, next is her sister her celluloid material has been repaired somewhat on her tummy and side seam not perfect, gold wavy hair, betty boop eyes, wearing a nice crochet dress in yellow with a cute cotton pleat mini skirt underneath. she is close to 7inches tall. the back of her head has a crack also near her neck. next is a lovely flapper type girl dressed in a flapper type dress made from a vintage hankie. dressed to the nines, nice condition, earrings. very betty boop style. painted red shoes and white socks missing a bit of paint. original red cane. gold molded wavy hair, very nice doll about 6.5 to 7 inches tall. and last is a cutie little 4 inch kewpie with silver dunce hat, gold wavy hair, in black lace dress and cane. same body construction, red shoes, white painted socks. bit of wear top corner of hair. overall nice condition. all four for one price. inventory 1705
