Description CUTE AS CAN BE, NOT PURE PERFECT SHE IS A VERY OLD KEWPIE OR CUPIE DOLL. NOT BAD FOR HER AGE AND MATERIAL THOUGH.. THE EARLY CELLULOSE OR CELLULOID MATERIAL. VERY LIGHT AND FRAGILE, SHE STILL HAS SOME OF THE ORIGINAL MOLDINGS ON HER HAND. AND SHE STILL HOLDS HER ORIGINAL RED CANE.. BIG SIDE GLANCING BLUE EYES, CLOSED RED MOUTH, HER ONE CHEEK IS PUSHED IN A BIT, usually there is more wear on these dolls than this cutie.. lovely original mustard gold crochet bonnet, and she has very vintage wavy gold painted hair under her bonnet.. she has a bust partly covered with yellow ribbon. her height for the doll is 6 inches and has no legs. she sits in a ball shaped pincushion type lower body.. there are holes around her lower torso where she would have been secured originally. now she can slip in and out of her pincushion stuffed skirt that has matching yellow ribbon and crochet lines around the lower skirt.. total height is 8 inches,, but the doll is about 6 inches tall herself.., she has an insignia on her back , a mark with H in it and also Japan on her back.., a bit of wear, one little end of one ribbon is frayed a bit.. still find it amazing for this doll so old and she really is not too bad looking at all. not perfect but nice.. her arms are loose, , they are connected and just evened them out. all these dolls had loose arms it seems...,, the lower pincushion skirt is stuffed satin and the bottom is white satin and would have cardboard inside for sturdiness I believe. it is stiff on the bottom.. inventory 1209. vintage cellulose kewpie circus type doll estimate 1920s late to 1930... different and unique. inventoried doll room cell box
