10'' FOLK ART SOUTHERN,WESTERN HANDMADE CDN 1971 BLACK DOLL

Description this doll is approx 10 inches tall and truly a folk art doll, label says hand made in Calgary, Alberta Canada circa 1971 and the artist's name interesting composition.. hands could be a resin type, not familiar with this type of art work. the face looks almost like the applehead dolls, there is no other information on this doll.. nicely dressed western or southern style with black leatherette pants and shoes, faux fur leopard long vest, green and white shirt, straw hat, and rope in one hand., even a belt. and a red poly scarf at his neck., sculpted eyes and teeth, nose, has black wooly type hair as I received him cALGARY IS home of the Calgary stampede so maybe this doll was crafted to depict a cowboy.. kind of cute INVENTORY 19 doll room shelf 4
