ABOUT 10 INCHES TALL CLEARING OUT THE DOLLS this is Smiley similar to the other Smileys that Canadian doll companies made during the 50s and 60s.. molded white teeth, brown skin, nice vinyl doll with leatherette tan parka tunic with white rabbit fur trim, and black leggings that cover his feet and legs. he is either D & C or Reliable.. as I received him nice condition short black rooted hair. cute as can be.. inventory 1484 think I found him in the book.. believe he may have been dressed by native Canadians and is fairly valuable.. brown plastic body, jointed hips, shoulders, neck.. brown vinyl head with ethnic features, slanted painted black eyes, rooted strt black hair, open closed mouth, showing teeth.. could not see the mark on back Reliable Canada doll and this one in the book is wearing a white fur trim tan parka and tied hood one small white tie missing, black leatherette neck tie and black leatherette snowpants.. some of the dolls were dressed in different outfits.. Reliable Canada 1967 our Centennial year. CALLED AN eSKIMO WHICH is not the current politically correct word. and our Smiley Inuit doll has the matching hoodie tied hat that matches his parka which will go home with him. filed lr bin 12 2020 ff I have two of the same doll, the color of the tunic is slightly different. the later pictures show smiley in an off white parka with fur trim on hem, cuffs, and his fur trim hood, black or dark brown leggings and tied leatherette shoes. bit of wear. real fur. .
