12'' GERMAN 201 MOLD KESTNER BROWN EYE BABY DOLL COMPO BODY GOWN

Description Unique to Kestner is the doll heads plaster like pates. Kestner supplied most of the bisque heads used by Catterfelder Puppenfabrik (Carl Trautmann) doll molds 263, 264, also some bisque heads for Roullet et Decamps walking dolls; Rheinische Gummi und Celluloid Fabrik supplied Kestner with celluloid heads (doll mold 201) and other doll parts. is a write up about the 201 German doll similar to what I have here, from Doll Reference site.. she is so cute, chubby cheeks. glass eyes brown that are stationary., compo jointed baby body with some wear but appears original body.. painted upper lower lashes open mouth., no teeth. and wearing an antique cotton ecru gown.. about 12 inches tall I do not know the previous history of this doll. as shown in picture.. . please email me for more pictures. thank you..
