Description This is a great pattern from 1981 with views for small bags with purchased handles, larger shoulder bag with or without purchased dowels and smaller rounded bag. Included in the pattern envelope is the original transfer for the embroidery design on the ivory purse. Pattern is UNCUT... just a sticker rub on pattern jacket. mccall's 7517 great handbag or purse pattern.. Bermuda bag (liner) A.B.C.D. with purchased handle has detachable button on covers.. cover A is cut bias.. cover B with contrast pockets and C with monogram pattern 7227, have several monogram patterns listed, have purchased piping trim.. Cover D has scallop edges and embroidery, transfer included.. bag E shoulder straps has rods in casings. Bag F and G larger size have zip opening, cording or string in side casings, cording or rope shoulder straps and tassel trim. most use batiste, cottons.. and bag covers all use linen, cottons, oxford cloth, chintz etc.. etc. etc.. what a fantastic idea, a bag cover make it your own look. super for craft fairs..
