11'' HP LATE 40S CDN BROWN HAIRED FASHION DOLL, RED COSTUME

Description FROM A LARGE DOLL ESTATE, these are wonderful dolls circa late 1940s and although her clothes are not removable and we cannot see her identity I am pretty sure she is the Reliable Canadian fashion doll, these started coming out in 1946, this one would be a bit later than that, heavier plastic, very nice condition, painted white shoes, one piece body, undies and I really love this dress she is wearing, an ivory and red floral print floor dress, with black satin ribbon trim around the bottom., red suedine vest and net lace blouse, painted lower lashes, sleep eyes, blue, pert little mouth, and the softest brown mohair wig, with black bow ribbon headdress. the skirt is a bit creased, overall nice costumed doll., she looks like she would be dressed in a French region costume, if you know her costume origin please let me know.. she is about 11 inches tall. sweetheart shape face, pinwheel blue eyes. a nice doll. clearing out the inventory 1579
