24'' 1930s LARGE COMPO HAPPY BABY DOLL (CHUCKLES) INVENTORY 2694

You have to love this very happy 1930s baby doll. could be a he and maybe Chuckles.. no identifying marks that I can see.. overall good condition and do not see any major flaws. about 24 inches tall as I received him from his owner. nails look like they are painted dark red and his lips may have been done at one time also.. he has what looks like red sponge tongue in his open mouth. , sleep eyes. blue sleep eyes, painted upper lashes, human lashes, molded hair, bit of a rub on left cheek but actually amazing condition for his age.. I do not know his prior history sorry. he even has a tongue. He will go home as I received him. so well done knitted blue bloomers and matching booties. he has a very old yellow nylon type shirt that would be hard to remove.. crier at the back of his well stuffed old cloth body.. compo lower limbs and compo head. inset into the body.. he has a vintage blue bonnet also. I am going to keep the crepe skirt shown in picture.. It does not do this doll justice and is probably a child size.
