this so antique lovely doll is about 11 inches tall. would estimate he is between 1850 to late 1800s and like an opera doll.. beautifully carved long fingers.. very antique intricate Chinese tunic robe,, very lightweight wooden legs and carved high sole two color shoes.. he is wearing leggings under his tunic. as you see him. what a wise face. made of a composition type material do not know what they used back then. the Japanese used gofun. beautifully carved face and painted features, very Oriental, black painted dome on head and comes with his antique headdress in a brass type material. elegant hand embroidered in gold thread it looks like, wonder if it can be analyzed and real gold hmmmmmmmmmmmm. as you see him. one very antique Opera Chinese doll, amazing his shoes are attached and his impressive headdress helmet living room doll cabinet ff ok LR OK INV
