Description 8" RUSSIAN PIPE SMOKING DOLL, RUG HAIR, SOLD AT EXPO inventory 429.. cute doll about 8 inches tall, Russian cossack type dancer called a Pipe Smoking doll sold at expo in 1967, I was there.. , stuffed body, light plastic hands, and face, as shown in the picture. wavy reddish hair piled high.. interesting folk art doll.. like a cossack dancer.. has his sash and black boots.. one boot has some numbers and it looks like a 67 which fits into when he was sold in Quebec..., poseable, white peasant blouse.. interesting doll as I received him.. original clothing. clearing out the dolls. I thought he was Polish but apparently in one of my books she is shown as Russian. he has an open O mouth, like the whistler and molly O dolls.
