Description 1970 WOODSTOCK OR GYPSY, PEASANT FLAVORED ENSEMBLE.. dated 1970 great year, new decade.. Simplicity 9111 size 12, the new sizing just came in, bust 34, waist 25 1/2 inches, hip 36 inches.. designer fashion.. uncut, but wear on pattern jacket edges.. front wrap skirt in two lengths, blouse, vest and sash.. designer fashion.. gathered front wrap skirt has waistband and hook and eye closing. Midi length 1 with sequin and metallic rick rack and braid trim has self fabric sash.. Maxi length 2,3, may be worn with purchased sash or belt.. blouse with back zip has V neck, collar, long set in sleeves gathered to button cuffs and optional topstitching. The lined vest 1,2, with low round neck and hook and eye closing have optional purchased frog.. 1 has metallic rick rack and braid trim.. 2 has metallic jewelled trim.. fabrics, the blouse in voile,crepe, sheer crepe, jersey , soft cotton etc.. skirt and vest in brocade, challis, cotton sateen, patchwork print, double kit, ltwt wool, linen etc.. 1,2, vest also in velvet,velveteen, satin, silk and worsted.. 2,3, skirt also in panne velvet, challis, crepe, etc.. really rich pattern.. I can see this ensemble being used as a costume, for a dancer doing a routine or competition, , day or night.. very cool tops and bottoms dated 1970.. wear on pattern jacket. uncut original folds tissue.. simplicity 9111.. size 12, bust 34.. previously owned by a designer, name and 1973 written on pattern jacket.
