20'' JOINTED 1961 REGAL CANADA EARLY 1ST PLASTIC BABY DOLL, DIAPER, ORIGINAL PACKAGE

Description this is really an interesting doll all original in Regal Canada bag.. a few holes in the bag etc but the doll is still intact.. In the green Canadian doll books if I have matched him up correctly, he is a rare doll. called Baby Dear 1961 20 inches tall. light plastic body, jointed hips, shoulders and neck.. Light plastic head. inset blue eyes, moulded red hair, open closed mouth.. mark on body Regal. originally wore a cotton shirt, diaper, and wrapped in a blanket tied with a ribbon. maybe this doll was a display doll or sent to another doll house to be dressed.. the note is this is one of the earliest Regal babies and feels like celluloid.. too tall to travel overseas. as you see him in original bag and wearing his original diaper.... inventory 2587 filed lr bin 10 2020, hard to take good pics through an old bag
