8'' MALVINE, CHARENTE FRENCH DOLL IN PURPLE OUTFIT, TAG 933

8" MALVINE, CHARENTE FRENCH INTERNATIONAL DOLL IN COSTUME 933 THIS IS A LOVELY EXAMPLE OF AN ETHNIC DOLL.. she is just beautiful and realistic,, she is a bit chubbier than most dolls.. very matronly looking, and wearing her gold cross on her neck.. She is called Malvine, written in French, my name is Malvine and she is from Charente region.. 8 inches tall from head to floor skirt her feet are a little shorter and she is about 7 1/2 inches tall herself.. very pretty vintage white puff sleeve blouse, gorgeous ruffled headdress with pearls and wearing a sheer white headdress at the back.. her hair appears to be mohair and pretty sure she is celluloid.. very very lightweight.. she could be from the late 40s to the 50s.. lovely condition.. she is wearing her pantaloons and painted white socks and black shoes.. She would make a great addition to any international or even just French doll collections.. .. inventory #933 clearing out the dolls... she is in fine condition cannot see any flaws,, painted blue eyes, closed red mouth.. wonderful shaped hands... the picture does not do her justice...
