The hiphugger pants are made to be worn 1 3/8" below normal waistline.  used a web picture.. nice pattern cut and checked out ok all accounted for.. bit of edge wear simple to sew jiffy.     size 12, bust 34, waist 25.5 inches   sizing would change again in a few years.. bit of wear. part of original seal on edge..   use cottons, denim, linen, ltwt wools etc..
