Description lovely, vintage dress pattern by Butterick. mid to late 1970s dress with a square neckline, .. semi fit dress below mid knee length, self lined bodice, deep hemline ruffle and full length sleeves gathered at cap and into button cuffs or 7/8 length gathered at cap with elastic lower edge.. solid or by color... Butterick 5956 and a Size 14/, 36" Bust. Pattern is uncut. waist 28 inches.. very much like the caftans styling so popular in the 70s.. use soft fabrics, ltwt broadcloth, challis, ltwt crepes, gauze.. BIT OF wear on pattern jacket, nice original folds tissue.
