8162 BUTTERICK 1950S SHORT SLEEVE SWING DRESS & SLIP PATTERN SIZE 18 38" B

ORIGINAL EARLY 1950S PATTERN.   this design may have been reintroduced by Butterick in their retro patterns..   Wear on pattern jacket, a tear.. only partly cut two pieces cut.. Circle skirted Dress and slip.  USED a web picture..  A double circle skirt and a cut out neckline make this the most feminine of dresses..  Underneath, a circle skirted slip.  A short sleeves..  B dress with contrast bodice that is bound to match cummerbund and skirt.. great pattern  size  18  old sizing  bust 38 inches...  waist 30, hip 40.  use sheers or heavy sheers.. crepe, shantung, gingham, cotton prints etc...  Butterick 8162  and may be circa 1952.  the two pieces are for the cummerbund
