Dolls are marked, “C.P.G. 1981, Hong Kong” on their backs. Both females and males have holes in the soles of their feet to allow the posing stand to attach to the doll. Clothing on some dolls is molded on, while other dolls wear partially or fully removable fabric clothing. Female dolls have long, rooted, stylable hair in varying colors and styles, according to character. Male dolls have molded on hair and clothing. Characters in the line include 8 named females and 8 named males. Female characters were packaged wearing a variety of named fashions exclusive to them, their wedge sandals/shoes painted in colors to complement the fashion. Male characters have one look exclusive to each of them, though variations can be found within the line. The GG line began with 5 females in 15 total looks, and 4 males in 4 total looks. In its second and third years, Kenner expanded the females to the full 8 in 42+ total looks, and males to 8 in 8 total looks.
