NOW there is no write up per se to tell you what kind of a skirt this is, longer, and has a waistband, designed to look like a wrap skirt. and there is only one piece for the skirt so it may be a type of wrap skirt.. has a whole waistband and comes with shawl fringe or not... 1953 lovely skirt pattern in any era... AND READING the description on the font called a one piece wrap around skirt and stole,, instructions included for making fringe.. waist 26 inches. some wear on pattern jacket, only three pieces, wow.. use tweed, linen, rayon suiting, denim, flannel, orlon and viscose suitings, gab... I remember orlon sweaters distinctly from the 50s!!! previously owned, all three pieces intact... waist 28 and hip 37 inches 7 inches below natural waist...,, fine wrap round skirt pattern with some wear on pattern jacket dated 1953.... mccall's 9480
