Simplicity 2590; ©1948; The dart-fitted bodice, seamed down the center front, joins the skirt under a detachable peplum. The skirt is cut in four sections and features soft pleats centering in back. Style 1 has long, fitted sleeves and a high neckline open in front. A slide fastener secures the back opening. In Styles 2 and 3, the shaped neckline is low and the sleeves are short.  amazing  original folds not used pattern.   original bill of sale is in the pattern jacket..   bottom piece is torn and missing from front of pattern jacket..     this one is Made in Canada size 16 old sizing..  used a web picture..  misses one piece dress with detachable peplum.  use silk, wool, faille, shantung etc..     SIZE 16  BUST 34, WAIST 28, HIP 37.
