7'' BLACK COMP0/ BISQUE SIDE GLANCING MAMMY DOLL, RED DOT DRESS

JUST A NICE SIZE ABOUT 7 INCHES TALL AND SOLD TO ME AS A BLACK BISQUE MAMMY DOLL IN HER RED POLKADOT DRESS..  I am sure she is bisque..   definitely from the 40s.. she is the older sized of these ethnic dolls around 7 inches tall with yellow apron, red polka dot dress could use some freshening she has been on display, all original with a cloth wrapped headdress style around her head.. has a very nice bodice. old ribbon decorated across her chest.. painted facial features, large long painted lashes, big eyes, no hair that I can see her headdress wrap covers her head, earrings, this is one older doll, old netting under her floor skirt and netting undies. jointed arms and frozen one piece body.. would be nice for a display, her outfit should be pressed, bit of wear on the bottom edge of her dotted dress.. overall cute doll for any collection. inventory 1425 clothes seem attached to her at the back and she seems more of a painted bisque than a compo material, tapping her head sounds more hollow.. black painted flat shoes too and ribbing on her legs for socks. inventory 1425  FILED 2 2021 ..  painted brown eyes and face features.. one eye needs to be repainted. closed red mouth.  circa 1940s on estimatge.   arms are a bit loose... she has molded rib socks and black flat shoes..  round metal earrings side of her head lr cabinet.  09 2021 inv
