Description this is very interesting and unique and chunky.. Signed Robert Pat Pending you receive two pairs of VINTAGE earrings.... There is a chunky drop pearl screw back pair made of copper we believe, metal. and has a pink and a purple bead in with the pearls about 1.25 inches long .... Then there is the floral pearl clip earring pair with rhinestones mixed in and maybe some seed pearls... these are about 1.5 inches long .. Very chunky and folk art vintage earrings.. both combined.. 3 2024 inv The clip earrings has Robert on one earring and on the other pat pending written on the clip. The screwbacks do not have any signature... dangle/drop style and clip-on closure make them easy to wear .. The company that made Original by Robért jewelry was founded as The Fashioncraft Jewelry Co. in New York, New York. The business was formed by partners Robert Levy, Irving Landsman, and David Jaffee in 1942, and the name of the company was changed to Robért Originals Inc. around 1960. Levy is known as the designer for the firm. Adding an accent to his first name in the company’s moniker was done to give it a European flair. Many collectors refer to the jewelry as Robert, knowing that Levy was the designer, and there is no French connection...
