1489 1956 SLIM PLEATED INSET SKIRT PATTERN 30'' WAIST

Description This vintage sewing pattern was made by Simplicity in 1956. It makes a slim skirt with a pleated insert or pleated lower skirt. uncut pattern part of the front of the pattern jacket has been cut out. original folds tissue.. USED a web picture. simplicity 1489.. size waist 30 inches, hip 39 inches, old sizing.. Misses' Skirt: This slim skirt is fitted with waistline darts in front and back. Pleated insert creates back interest in view 1. Pointed button-trimmed tab accents upper edge of insert. View 2 is shown with a pleated lower skirt. Bias trims band over lower skirt seam, with a bow at center back. Vintage 1956 use linen, cotton, pique, ginghm.. etc.
