Simplicity 5948 Vintage Sewing Pattern Set of Stuffed Toys (Transfers Included):The boy, girl, lion and monkey toy with embroidered faces have decorative fasteners to snap head, hands and feet together at will. The toys have elastic on feet which attach to child's feet for dancing. The hair for boy, girl and lion toy is made of rug yarn. The boy and girl toy have body, head, arms, legs and hands and feet of five different fabrics. Boy toy has bow tie of arms fabric. The girl toy with ribbon hair ties has apron made of embroidered eyelet edging and ribbon. Monkey and lion toy with fasteners on tail have hands, feet and face of contrasting fabric. THESE STUFFED TOY DANCING CHARACTERS sizing does not seem to be mentioned on pattern jacket. would estimate they would be at least three feet tall.. I have one uncut, uncut ones go first, and one that is cut and checked out ok all accounted for.. simplicity 5948 some wear.. really cute and interesting pattern. use calico, chintz, denim, duck, patchworks, seersucker, cord etc.. monkey or lion body, head, arms, legs, tail also in ltwt furs.. 1973.. great gift for children.
