9'' LENCI TYPE ITALIAN GIRL DOLL, FLOCK FACE, BLACK SHOES #722

Description inventory 722. small Lenci type or Molly O type vintage doll flocked face red print skirt stitched fingers 9??????? Italian l SHE IS about 9 inches tall very Lenci type Italian doll with flocked face. open closed red mouth, red in nostrils and inside corner of eyes, painted inset eyes, painted upper lashes.. nice brown wig believe it is mohair.. and vintage or antique red print skirt with very old peasant blouse, blue rick rack trim.. .. stuffed natural fabric body with seams up the back of the legs, and removable black felt shoes, hair is separated at the back but to me it looks like it has always been like that.. inquisitive child doll. all cloth, nice stitched fingers and thumb.... I would say she could easily be the late 40s to 1950s. no tags that I can see.. i HAVE ON her tag that she is Italian so I must have gleaned that information in my ethnic dolls book when I wrote the info on her.. lovely cloth doll. jointed legs., arms too, one seems a bit loose on the right side.. actually her flocked face is not too bad and detailing is clear... dollroom 7 SHELF filed inventoried ok
