AMERICAN GIRL BLONDE BARBIE DOLL ORIGINAL REPRO 02 GOLD N GLAMOUR 65 IN BOX 1647 STAND @ EXTRA DRESSED REPLACEMENT HEAD

Description 2002 Gold 'N Glamour Vintage Barbie Reproduction This is a reproduction of Vintage Barbie Gold ???N Glamour #1647 (1965) and a Blonde American Girl Vintage Barbie Doll. This doll was from the Collector's Request Edition, which are made in smaller numbers and can be harder to find than other reproduced Barbie Dolls. The reproduction includes the accessories, including the purse, brown gloves and original brown closed heels were missing. Original papers are underneath Barbie.. I received her like this, the box covered with plastic inside the lid .. I found her original brown repro heels under the doll stand.. She does not look like she was removed from box. . She has her purse which are all very hard to find vintage items. I received this beautiful blonde Barbie in this original box in her outfit, with an extra replacement head fully dressed.. Apparently Mattel did this for some of the productions. Some of the productions had issues with earrings and an extra head was sent along.. I checked the extra head and she does not have any earrings . her face is gorgeous and she has deep red lips. I imagine that many vintage collectors buy this doll for the accessories to complete the vintage ensemble. you rarely see this outfit, great that it was reproduced. she does look like an American Girl Barbie doll from 1965 . . as shown in the pictures.. lovely condition. Gold 'n Glamour Barbie Nostalgic Vintage Reproduction doll, made by Mattel in 2001. It replicates an outfit originally released in 1965.
