Vintage Barbie Friday Night Date #979 (1960-1964) 2022 

• Blue Corduroy Jumper with Felt Appliqués  6 at least.. some are one owner;    
• White Cotton Underdress    8 at least    
• Black Open Toe Heels at least 2 pairs        
• Black Tray with Barbie logo  at least 5       
• 2 Orange Juice Glasses with Cotton “Fizz” at least 6 1 in pak box        
• 2 White Straws  none   

This adorable ensemble includes Barbie’s version of a poodle skirt – her blue corduroy jumper with a white cotton underdress with puffed sleeves and a ruffled skirt. The jumper closes in the back with snaps and has felt appliqués. It is common for some of these to be missing.  The rare items in this ensemble are the juice glasses, the “cotton fizz” in the juice glasses, and the rarest of all – the tiny straws in the glasses. The black tray is pretty easy to find – the earliest versions were flat and those are rare. This ensemble also came with black open toe heels – too bad Mattel didn’t figure out how to make saddle oxfords!   

 

   wE HAVE A CHOICE       We have at least 9   of the  nice white under dress; choose underdress in the menu; I DO not see a label inside the under dress.  One has a bit of yellowing on shoulders, nicest one goes first.. .

,  5 black platters, nicest one with full writing goes first, some have faded Barbie writing;    choose platter in the menu;  nON PAPER ITEMS SUCH AS CLOTHING TRAVELS TO USA AND INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS SMALL PACKET AIRMAIL.

I do have several orange juice glasses with fizz ...  I have two orange juice with fizz  glasses one with a crack on the side, nice one goes first, choose orange juice in menu.

I have a few lovely under dresses from original owner, best one goes first..   ..  the underdresses are nice some could be freshened.  one has a stain on the back of the underdress shown in last picture...
