19'' CANADIAN WIS-TON PLUSH BLUE WHITE GAS GENIE, WINGS 85 PJ BAG DOLL

called a Gas Genie, 19 inches, circa 1985, the closest one I could find to the actual doll in the Canadian book of dolls.. this is a pajama doll zipper underneath his polka dot bottom, all furry in blue and white, vinyl hands, and a mask face, painted features.. red flame up the centre of his forehead.. hard to find. cute doll.. Wis-Ton,, advertised for North Western Utilities Ltd.. gas genie was the creation of ex Disney cartoonist Gene Hazelton of San Diego.. it was licensed to utility companies in the U.S. and Canada.. a similar doll was first used by North Western in 1959.. this doll to me seems closer to the 1960s than the 1980s.. zipper opens and you can stuff it solid so Genie stands up tall.. great unusual doll... inventory 1208 doll room inventoried  BR 10 2020 INV  I HAVE TWO OF THESE, THE NICEST ONE GOES FIRST, GOES AS PARCEL OR PACKET MAIL.   SECOND ONE HAS A BIT OF FACE PAINT MISSING..  THE FIRST ONE TO GO WITH NICE FACE PAINT is a real sky blue plush.  the other one is a more turquoise blue plush, has some paint loss on face.
