inventory 86. 17 1/2" china head black hair, bwonderful . ` GRACIOUS LADY and I find these china heads so fascinating. how do these beautiful dolls survive over 100 years, these were the main play dolls before 1900.. this is Clara.. 17 1/2 inch china head doll on original body with original china arms and legs.. Lovely old china head with watery blue eyes , red accent lines above eyes.. Nice high glaze on china, no hairlines or chips. Firmly packed sawdust filled body, legs have painted blue garters and brown painted boots.. body is in very good condition no mends.. old antique slip and pantaloons.. marks 4 on back of shoulder plate. circa 1890s.. very fine condition lovely china head doll for any collection.. filed lr ok ff 17" antique low brow china head, incised with the # 4. Dreamy painted eyes, center part hair with molded curls. Original cloth body, bisque hands are free from damage. Painted lower legs with blue bows and brown boots. Nicely dressed with a muted very pale green floral  flocked dress, antique vintage slip and pantaloons. Nice doll  LR FILED .. SHE weighs 500 grams without packaging. cabinet 5 2022
