18'' CHAD VALLEY TYPE ORIGINAL JTD REDHEAD CLOTH DOLL, MASK FACE

inventory 293. *18 inch Lenci/;Chad Valley unmarked linen doll original, braids 1920 jointed... Lenci or Chad Valley type cloth doll with mask face, side glancing painted blue eyes, long lashes.. linen colored stuffed cloth legs with the seams down the middle like the famous dolls, and cloth arms with mitt hands.. all original, old cotton dress with pointed collar and linen shoes. side glancing OH expression, mask face doll with red hair in very thick braids and original little blue taffeta ribbons.. face appears to be at first thought composition, but think it is an oilcloth type material, before vinyl... Her hinged legs have antiquated old leather backing and old wire twisted pins, estimate circa 1915 to 1920s.. unique 18 inch doll nice condition had her for years.. clearing out the dolls.. inventory 293. her clothes do not appear to be removable. attached at the back waist.. she has lovely linen undergarments, slip and panties.. and very long legs.. filed doll rm SHELF 8 OK inventoried
