9.5'' COMPO BISQUE CHINESE MOTHER, 6'' TODDLER SILK CLOTHES

A lovely pair of vintage Chinese mother and child dolls with bisque or composition face, the mother is beautifully painted, black painted hair and adorable little braided braids on top, 2, wearing her original silk clothes in pink and green, the silk is starting to shred.. painted nails.. red painted shoes, she is wearing a pink jacket and green pants.. circa 1940s on estimate.. old trim at the hem of her pants.... the baby is about 6 inches tall and has a few rubs on his face from living on Mom's back. the baby has braided black hair as well two little ones.... the mom is about 9.5" tall. beautifully made.. composition part limbs.., hard stuffed body.
