Description
THESE PARTICULAR DOLLS ARE HARD TO COME BY and really a precious part of Canadian doll history. made by quality doll company Reliable, this doll is dated circa 1967 our Canadian Centennial year.. This doll company made several Inuit or Aboriginal dolls, some were called Eskimo and that is not a correct term today, in the 60s era, this one is unusual,, he is wearing a hudson Bay blanket coat which would be original to him and a tweed brown one piece jumpsuit that does not look original.. open closed mouth with white teeth,,, smaller slanted painted eyes, black hair, fully jointed and the nicest bronzed brown color skin... as you see him here.. inventory #736.. very nice condition adorable Inuit doll 10 inches tall. Reliable in script on his back.. fully jointed lightweight plastic... sorry the pictures do not depict the impishness and character this doll has...sold as previously owned Canadian Reliable Inuit doll, and so cute...item is one very northern Inuit Canadian Reliable doll over 40 years old and is as described in the text and shown in pictures. thank you.
