10.5'' ELDERLY COUNTRY PEASANT WOMAN CLOTH DOLL, BROWN SKIRT, STICKS, WOVEN BELT

I have many of these clay based characters, very realistic and down to earth folks and peasants.. I do not know the history of her but she could easily be french made like the clay dolls. BUT SHE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE CLAY on close inspection.. she is mostly all cloth, and so well created,, mitt hands with stitched fingers.. red stripe peasant blouse, check apron, softest brown fleecy type long skirt, slip , , pantaloons. and very unusual brown shoes with no bottoms.. It looks like she is a weaver, and weaves handles or belts from sticks, bundle of sticks under her arm and a finished product in front. such character face.,, her face feels like a paper mache, painted face features. grey or white hair.. , love her eyes.. beautiful elderly woman, peasant style inventory 1448 shelf 8 doll room  filed 4 2022 inv
