11'' FRENCH CLAY MALE FIGURE JOSEPH OR SHEPHERD ORIGINAL STAND

I have several of these magnificent clay dolls, from france. this is another very well molded character, he could be Jesus or  Joseph  or a shepherd. 11 inches tall, dressed plainly in long striped open coat, and wearing a long dark brown gown under the robe. molded sandals.. carrying his wooden stick, signed underneath.. the pictures do not do him justic.
