Vintage 1970s Simplicity 8575 Empire Wedding or Bridesmaid Dress with Leg O Mutton sleeves and Detachable Train cut and checked out ok all accounted for size 12, bust 34 inches the newer sizing.. waist 25 1/2 inches, hip 36 inches.. wear on the back top flap area.. nice tissue..1972. Lined dress with skirt stitched to bodice above normal waistline has back zipper, and long set-in sleeves. V1 and 2 with lowered round neckline and bias trim have lined, detachable train. V1 features lace insertion trim. V2 has lace bodice, sleeves and train. V3 with high round neckline and "stand-up" collar has two-piece "leg-of-mutton" sleeves and optional lace daisy medallion and button trim. use all except 2 bodice, sleeves and train in cottons , jacquards, linens, silks, moire, taffeta etc.. 2 bodice, sleeves, train in lace only.. 3 also in eyelet lovely Woodstock era bridal or bridesmaid dress.. beautiful and elegant.. THICK heavy pattern
