GREAT PATCHWORK PUZZLE COAT.. macphee workshop.. altho quilting is the inspiration of the coat, the intention is to simplify the process.. Therefore all the blocks are attached, quilted, to a Yukon Fleece Base, thus eliminating the need for a layer of batting and a backing layer.. this also allows the coat to be reversible, altho it does not have to be.. the blocks are strips of several different by complimentary fabrics that are stitched together.. then they are cut apart into new stripes and recombined with other fabric strips or with themselves but in an altered arrangement.. you are the designer.. entire coat is bound to finish the raw edges so that it remains reversible.. a collar or a hood in the child and youth sizes and patch and or zip pockets complete the look.. The Patchwork Puzzle coat is certainly quilting at its finest.. adults sizes small to med to large x 4 or four xtra large.. bust or chest 32 to 50 inches for adults. hip 34 to 52 inches. and children youth sizes 2 to 12,, chest 21 to 30 inches.. yukon fleece base fabric etc... beautifully designed for children or adults wide size range..
