18 INCH 1900 CHINA HEAD CHINAHEAD BLACK HAIR DOLL NAMED MARION, LONG BLUE STRIPE SKIRT

Love the Pet Name Chinas - Hertwig. They started making these just before the turn of the century and ended production by World War I. The name plate reads “Marion”, there were only a very few names that they produced...  This black haired china head is 18 inches tall.    go by pictures..    I have 20 antique dolls from this collection.  I am not an expert.  The body may have been replaced years ago or the china limbs replaced... She is lovely and intact.... Marion is wearing a very long appropriate blue and white full striped skirt and a white blouse covering her chest plate with Marion on it.. she has china brown boots with molded buttons on the side.. She will travel small packet airmail or parcel mail.. Filed 3 2022 inv. box ds ok ...   She was well loved and cared for..   I love the small repairs on her stuffed cloth body..  I was informed she  is a Hertwig...
