18'' GERMAN CUNO OTTO DRESSEL 93 BROWN EYED AUBURN MOHAIR DOLL,JEWEL HAT

INVENTORY 9 #241. 18" Cuno and Otto Dressel C.O.D. shoulder head on leather body. Beautiful peachy complexion with brown paper weight stationary eyes. Finely painted eyelashes, feathered brows. Old brown reddish brown mohair wig. bisque head is perfect no chips or hairlines. Leather gusset body is in good shape, still soft and supple. A few small repairs on body by gussets, does not detract. when I received this beautiful doll there was leakage of the sawdust between the stitching of the leather and the antique cloth lower leg.. I will be getting this professionally repaired next month. only flaw I see on this doll and common with antique leather body joints... Bisque arms are perfect. Doll is dressed in a beautiful antique drop waist ivory satin dress with antique lace trim. and antique net lace collar.. sure suits her.. she was originally dressed in a burgundy dress but this outfit is stunning.. She comes to you with the most ornate jewelled doll hat I have ever seen, very heavy.. could be any age from the 20s to 40s.. old old glass beads, pearl sprigs, ribbons, lace trim. matches her dress nicely.... C.O.D. 93 0/2 DEP. Circa 1890's Beautiful early doll. black vintage doll socks.. beautiful doll. wearing pantaloons eyelet trim also.. has a very wistful face. nice teeth.. love her soft aurburn mohair wig... her face is so beautiful.. several repairs to the leather body and perhaps in future this lovely antique doll could have a replaced leather body.. lovely antique doll. filed ds bin antique.. She has been reduced, she has such a lovely face and expression..
