Description Hard to find plush kiwi birds. The kiwi is an unusual flightless bird that is native to New Zealand. The kiwi is the only bird in the world that has nostrils at the end of its beak. Also, the kiwi is about the size of a chicken but lays an egg about the size of an ostrich.. and this bird is older and a coffee brown color, quite sad looking,, glass eyes, believe one eye is chipped at the bottom, only notice it if you feel his eye.. and very hard feet like rubber.. estimate 60s for this vintage Kiwi New Zealand bird stuffed animal with original tag.. hard to measure about 7 1/2 inches long.. cute and historical bird from New Zealand.. the coloring is off in the pictures, he is an interesting rusty brown soft furry color, and his feet feel so real and his beak.
