8 1/2'' BLONDE FRENCH CELLULOID DOLL PEACH COSTUME,RED HEELS 1280

Description WOW WHAT A SURPRISE THIS BEAUTIFUL DOLL IS,, beautiful round face and blue eyes.. and a light blonde wig original waves, Harlow hair, mohair I believe. and her white lacy Regional cap with a different type of ribbon on the side and attached with very old straight pins.. original costume, needs a pressing, lovely peach dress with light blue bodice and ink blue and gold apron with a large pockets. jointed legs and arms, all celluloid lightweight.. she has France on her back under her shawl and ARI I believe., clothes are not really removable and strung like the early Kewpie dolls.. from the color of her dress I would estimate this young lady to be late 1920s to 1930s at the latest.. nice painted white stockings and red painted pumps.. she had a seal or paper attached to her at one time and it has curled and faded and left it on her apron.. about 8 1/2 inches, lovely quality French girl, amazing condition for her age.. and love her innocent face and round chubby cheeks.... inventory 1280 for being such a lightweight material, this doll has very little damage,, only in the pictures did I notice a slight mark at the end of her cute nose, and her costume is faded in places and only notice two pin marks in her apron that look like they held a tag at one time.. filed doll rm
