Description going through my stash of patterns and found this lovely vintage Family Aprons Simplicity 4939 pattern uncut almost crisp.. simple to make.. Used web picture.. no stamps, a bit of old tape left corner. one size. original folds and transfer.. Simplicity 4939; ©1954; Family Aprons. 4 easy-to-sew aprons plus transfer. Apron for Man, Woman, Boy and Girl, Transfer Included: "Simple to Make" aprons can be made for every member of the family. Women's and girl's apron is fitted with darts at the waist. Apron features a pocket across lower front divided by stitching. Hen design is appliqued to contrasting patches sewn to pocket. Neck strap is contrasting. Tie ends fasten in a bow in back. Man and boy's apron features the wide pocket divided by stitching, tie ends, rooster applique and contrast bias trim.
