Description 1956 GREAT YEAR AND WHAT A LOVELY ENSEMBLE.. BACK v sleeveless flare dress and a cute little kimono or bolero type jacet, half sizing, of that era size 16 1/2 or bust 37 inches., waist 31 and hip 41 inches, usually hip is 7 inches below waist.. one style perfect as a house dress or shopping. sleeveless dress is styled with round neck in front that dips to a V in back.. Two pockets in the gently flare skirt are featured.. The jacket has a crdigan neckline and short, kimono sleeves.. 1 shows dress and jacket in matching fabric.. both have ribbon and bow trim.. 2 shows dress and jacket in contrast fabrics.. dress has braid trim.. simplicity 1640 would estimate this was only partly used.. very nice tissue, all accounted for all 11 pieces.. lovely flare dress and cute jacket.. use 1 linen, pique, cotton, silk, rayons etc.. also in velveteen.. 2 use linen, pique, cotton, denim, rayons etc... nice vintage original pattern ot a copy. some wear on pattern jacket not perfect
