Description INVENTORY 61. *11-12 Compo dutch girl The Yellon House embroidered in blue on nice plaid apron all original late 1920s to perhaps 1930s clearing out the dolls... and this girl is so unique and unusual lovely ethnic doll, 5 piece composition legs and arms., body with socket head.. Wooden Dutch shoes and she is estimated circa 1920s from original owner.. and feels like a celluloid face but is a papier mache Dutch girl i. 12" Papier Mache Dutch Girl in original Dutch attire. Nicely painted features with side glancing eyes and subtle shadow. Original blonde mohair wig peeks out underneath Dutch cap. 5 Piece composition body with socket head.Doll is in excellent condition, still retaining original finish with face coloring nice and bright.Original Dutch clothing with black dress with red plaid apron that reads "The Yellon House " on front of apron. I could not find any information on this phrase. The stitching appears to be done in the factory and not put on by hand. The doll wears real wooden Dutch shoes with black stockings.
