5843 VOGUE 63 1 PC BATHING SUIT,CAPE LENGTHS PATTERN 12 32

Description Vogue 5843; ca. 1963; One Piece Bathing Suit and Cape. Short fitted bathing suit with oval neckline has low belt held with carriers. Cape in two lengths buttons below standing band collar. Deep patch pockets. Featured in Vogue Pattern Book April/May 1963 and June/July 1963, and June/July 1964 now this is a very interesting vintage Vogue pattern, would almost say one of a kind.. You just don't see a pattern with a one piece bathing suit and also a lovely cape in lengths.. size 12, bust 32, hip 34 inches, old sizing, some edge wear, tape,, the cape is uncut.. pattern is partly cut and checked out.. the #9 belt piece is missing..... use cotton broadcloth, pique, linen, madras, seersucker, cotton satin etc.. cape also in tweed, flannel, ltwt wool, knitted fabrics, mohair.. two versions of cape and bathing suit. zipper needed.. belt piece seems to be missing.
