Description inventory 1613. lovely Navajo mother at her weaving shuttle. all solid carved wood about 8.5 inches high about 7 inches across and about 6 inches deep.. base is solid wood and covered with an older blue linen cloth. everything is nailed.. never seen a Navajo doll like her.. kneeling in front of the weaving, very colorful, baby in papoose beside her left side. old string for the weaving of the wool, and wool fluff surrounding her skirt.. painted facial features, she is studying her work, colorful beads, hair pulled back and the vintage dark plum purple velvet top, purple skirt.. estimate early 60s for this mother and child.. dusty, been in storage for many years.. overall very nice condition.. the Navajo mother kneeling is about 4 inches high. very historic, doll room shelf W INVENTORIED
